Dorian Leigh past away last Monday at the age of 91 in a nursing home in Virginia. She is considered to be the first supermodel. Sister of actress Suzy Parker she graced the cover of Vogue more than 7 times. Unlike most models who enter modelling at the tender ages of 14 or maybe 19 in those days, she started her career at the age of 27. It is widely believed that she was the inspiration for the main character of Breakfast at Tiffany's. She also popularised the Revlon brand Fire and Ice. She later on opened a modelling agency which she had to close down and then started again by opening restaurants in Europe & America. Infact she wrote several cookbooks too. She also wrote her autobiography and dedicated it to her son Kim who died at the age of 21. Towards the end of her life she became a born again christian.
