Venky's Chicken Nuggets

Yum. I had some Venkys' chicken nuggets yesterday and absolutely loved them for various reasons. For one thing they are so peazy to make. You do not even need to thaw them. Infact you should not thaw them. Take them out of the freezer and gently put them into a wok of boiling oil. They sizzle and fizzle. This should not frighten you. Still the oil does spurt. I found it useful to put them in a long handled steel ladle and gently lower them. They should be deep fried for 4-5 mts or until they turn golden brown. This happens quite fast. Then take them out and place on tissue paper to absorb the oil. I think its reasonably priced too. 40 Rs for a small pack of 10 nuggets.
Venky's is a product of Venkateshwara Hatcheries which is based in Pune and they have a whole range of frozen stuff. This is the first time I am trying out something of this brand and I loved the taste too. By the way I just had them with some tomato sauce.
