Singapores' Public Transport System
Singapore has one of the most systematic public transport systems ever. The stations are generally known as "MRTs". There's always one around the corner. The trains are clean and not crowded. Actually they are super clean. For those on vacation here, it makes economical sense to use the train or buses. A cab from the zoo to Orchard street would cost about 22 dollars. However a bus would only come upto 4 dollars. The buses are very clean and comfortable too. Only the very rich have a car here in Singapore since this is one of the most expensive places in the world to own a car. So there are not too many traffic jams.
