Malpua: The Golden Beauty

If you love Indian sweets and have a really sweet tooth Malpua is the thing for you. These are actually fritters made of semoline and milk... fried in ghee. In the southern states of India, they are also made from ripe banana and pineapple. Bengalis sometimes use coconut milk in their version. These golden yellow yummies dripping in sugar syrup taste best with vanilla ice cream.
